The donors this week wanted to send this hour out to the memory of their dad who was a dedicated CKUA listener. He was also the person who we truly appreciate as a teacher, historian, artis, 

bridge player, and quirky lovely man from Red Deer. I love the suggestion of songs that feel comes from their sing-a-longs around the fire. 

The music celebrate in song and story how the family remembers him.



Very special indeed and with music it's his story that relates to every listener no matter the age. I know there will be tears BUT ! Music heals. 



Hour Two a journey to the proud people of 'our' North as we all know the same things - Denmark, Nunavut, and Alberta.
